And....We're Rollin'!

That's right...Maddie is rolling over! She did it last night for the first time. I had her on her back on the floor, and the next thing I knew, she was on her tummy! She only likes to be there for a short period of time, so we flip her onto her back again, but then she rolls onto her tummy again, and we start all over. Of course as soon as I took the video camera out, she got distracted by her play mirror, so we're still working on getting it on film.

Our First Daddy's Day

Madelyn and Brian had a wonderful (and eventful!) first Father's Day. Maddie got to try out her new swing, and her jumper that we finally got assembled (thanks, Grandpa Fritz!). Needless to say, she absolutely loved both. Add a little cuddle time with Daddy, and it was a great day.

We had to put a suitcase under her feet - still a little small to reach the floor!

Maddie's Baptism

Maddie is the newest little Catholic on the block. Madelyn did wonderfully - not a peep, other than showing Deacon Tony her new trick, which is blowing raspberries. And everytime he placed his hand on her to bless her, she'd put her hand on his, like they were holding hands. He couldn't even try to hide his smile!

While taking pictures of Maddie with her cake, she stuck her hand in it. We gave her a piece to play with (not eat, of course), and she loved squishing her hands around in it and making quite the mess.

Sittin' Pretty

Maddie loves her purple Bumbo chair, and when you add her new rings to the equation...well, it's good stuff.

A video...finally!

I've been working for a long time to get a video to work, and we finally got it! Below is Maddie dancing with her daddy, a favorite time for both of them. The bikini is still a bit big, so we can't wear it out in public yet!
