First Job!

We've decided it's time Maddie started pulling her weight around the house, so we put her to work! Not really, she just did some fit modeling for Kohl's. She gets to try on clothes for our private labels, and the buyers can see how they fit and make any changes. She does get paid for it, though, and did a wonderful job, although she was a little distracting with her smiles and story-telling!

We've started cereal with Madelyn, but she's been less than thrilled with it. We decided to try some fruit in her mesh teether, and she loved it! Her facial expressions looked a little unsure, but she kept gnawing at it, and was not happy when I tried to take it away. On the second picture you can see her two little teeth, too!

Playing with Uncle Lance

Maddie got to spend a little time with Uncle Lance a few weekends ago while the rest of us were running around the house. Being the coach that he is, he of course started her out on her ball-handling abilities, but as you can see, she mostly just wanted to eat it. They then worked on her piano lesson. She's already a pro!

Audrey's Birthday

Maddie and I got to go to Audrey's first birthday party in Green Bay. Maddie had a great time in the kiddie pool! Mario fried up about 10 pounds of fish, and the spread was awesome. We all had a blast, the Nannas throw a great birthday party!

4th of July

We spent the 4th in Prairie at the cabin, and had a great time. We fished, had a bonfire, and watched fireworks. Maddie absolutely loved the fireworks! They didn't bother her at all, and every time one went off, she'd just sit and stare at it - so cute!
